ACT Stream TV 4K: features
The ACT Stream TV 4K comes with Dolby passthrough which lets a user have access to 4K content enhanced with Dolby Audio. Unfortunately, the box doesn’t support HDR 10 content, which is available on the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K. ACT has partnered with content providers like Hotstar, Netflix, Sony Liv, YouTube, Zee5 and Hungama, with the respective apps pre-loaded on the device. One can access over 3,000 apps available on the Play Store through the device, and watch over 100 free to air TV channels.
Users can subscribe to premium content from existing OTT streaming partners or channels which are associated with ACT Fibernet. The subscriptions can be paid directly as a part of their monthly ACT Fibernet bill. Any match, highlights or TV shows can be accessed for up to 24 hours after they go live. The Stream TV 4K runs Android 9.0 Pie and also comes with built-in Chromecast.
The device has ports to connect hard drives, USB drives, joysticks and a camera to view pictures, play games and make video calls. The device ships with a Bluetooth-powered remote which has dedicated buttons for Netflix, YouTube, Google Play and Live TV. It also features a voice button to summon the Google Assistant.
