Homegrown cell phone maker Lava expanded its affordable A-series lineup with a new smartphone dubbed A77. Although the device carries an MRP of Rs 6,099, it is reportedly retailing at Rs 4,999 in offline market. The phone is up for grabs in a variety of colour options i.e., Blue, Gold, and Grey.
The highlight of the Lava A77 has to be a front-facing LED flash for better selfies. In addition, it comes with VoLTE support so that those who are looking to operate it on a Reliance Jio network will face no problem. The phone weighs 160g and packs a 2,000mAh removable battery.
Specs-wise, it has a 4.5-inch touchscreen featuring 800 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution. Inside, there is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 1GB of RAM. It also bears 8GB of expandable storage. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it houses a 5-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Lava launched a couple of mid-range smartphones the Lava Z10 and Z25 in late March. Both the smartphones boast of a metal body and premium looks. The VoLTE-enabled Lava Z10 and Z25 are priced at Rs. 11,500 and Rs. 18,000 respectively.
