AirPods Pro 2 to debut with iPhone 14 series, here’s what to expect

Apple AirPods Pro 2 is tipped to launch at the iPhone 14 series launch event, which will take place on September 7th, 2022. It will be the second-generation AirPods, which will replace the original model, which debuted back in October 2019.

The rumours surrounding the AirPods Pro 2 suggest that it will be the most premium TWS earbuds from Apple. The iPhone 14 series launch event is also expected to see the arrival of some other Apple devices, such as the Watch Pro, Watch Series 88, Watch SE, and an iPhone hardware subscription with Apple One, claims Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Early rumours surrounding the AirPods Pro 2 claimed that it would be equipped with health-tracking features like a body temperature sensor and a heart rate tracker. According to Gurman, these features will not be available on the AirPods Pro 2.

Other reports have claimed that the AirPods Pro 2 will look a lot like the original model. However, it is likely to offer a few new tweaks. The charging case of the device is said to have a thickness of 21mm. It will be 46mm tall and 54mm wide.

While a leak by 52audio that appeared in June, revealed that the AirPods Pro 2 charging case will have a USB Type-C port, a recent claim by well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo states that it will retain the Lightning port.

The AirPods 2 is expected to feature the next generation of H1, which is Apple’s in-house audio processor. It is likely to carry support for the LC3 codec and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. It is said to offer enhanced audio quality for phone calls and songs with high-bitrate support. Some reports have also said that it will support Apple’s Lossless Audio Code (ALAC).
