Airtel launched a Rs 401 prepaid plan back in April bundled with a free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription. The telco then went on to launch four new prepaid plans with the same benefit. However, this offer was only limited to prepaid users until now. The telco is now offering Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscriptions to select postpaid and broadband users.
Eligible Airtel postpaid and broadband users can redeem the Disney+ Hotstar VIP membership at no cost through the Airtel Thanks app. Customers can head to the rewards section of the Airtel Thanks app and check if they are eligible for the benefit. Let’s take a look at all the details of the offer.
Airtel offers free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription to postpaid and broadband users
Airtel is now offering Disney+ Hotstar VIP annual subscription to select postpaid and broadband users
According to the terms and conditions on the Airtel website, the free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription will be provided only to users on a postpaid plan of Rs 499 and above, as well as broadband customers on Rs 999 and above plans. To claim it, users will need to head to the ‘Discover #airtelThanks’ section’ on the Airtel Thanks app and tap on the ‘Disney+ Hotstar VIP’ tile to claim the benefit.
Eligible users can claim the offer via the Airtel Thanks app
Notably, the offer can only be claimed on the Airtel Thanks app, and only one subscription is valid for every eligible postpaid or broadband plan. Additionally, the offer will only be valid if the customer remains on the same or higher Airtel postpaid or broadband plans. In case the customer downgrades their plan or ceases to hold an active Airtel postpaid or broadband connection, the subscription will be revoked.
This benefit is separate from the Disney+ Hotstar “Add to Bill offer” rolled out by Airtel last month, which allows postpaid and broadband users to add a Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription at Rs 399 to their bill on an annual basis.
