At present, Airtel offers DTH relocation through two methods only. These include calling on customer care number or sending an email to digitalTV@airtel.com. The service provider offers DTH relocation in any city in the country. The process takes 12 hours each for uninstallation from the old place and reinstallation at the new place.

Moreover, Airtel assures that the customer care number for the service is available 24/7 and has support for 12 Indian languages. This makes it easier for anyone in the country to avail of the service without being restricted by time or language. However, the customer care number is different in different regions.

Airtel DTH relocation: charges for a single connection

Airtel has fixed charges for uninstallation and re-installation of Digital TV DTH service in all states. In case you are using a single dish for a single connection, you will be charged Rs 150 for the uninstallation of the DTH. There are two options for reinstallation – same or different premises with the old dish and different premises with a new dish.

In case you opt for reinstallation with the old dish, you will be charged Rs 250 for a single connection with Rs 8 per metre for extra cable. For multi-connection reinstallation (sharing common dish for multiple connections), you’ll be charged Rs 250 for reinstallation, with Rs 75 per connection and Rs 8 per metre for extra cable.

Those opting for a new dish in new premises will have to pay Rs 200 for reinstallation, Rs 400 for the new dish, and Rs 8 per meter for extra cable. In case of multi-connection with a new dish, the charges will be Rs 300 for reinstallation, Rs 400 for the dish, and Rs 8 per meter for extra cable.

Airtel DTH relocation: charges for multi-connection

In case you are a multi-connection Airtel Digital TV DTH user using a single dish for multiple users, the uninstallation charge goes up to Rs 200 for single and Rs 300 for multi connection. Re-installation charges for single connection from Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU) to Single Dwelling Unit (SDU) with old dish is Rs 200 + Rs 400 and Rs 8 per metre for extra cable. In case multi-connection, the charges are Rs 300 + Rs 400 and Rs 8 per meter for extra cable.

In case of a new dish reinstallation from SDU to MDU, the charges are Rs 200 and Rs 300 for single and multi connection, respectively. Any extra cable, if required, will be charged at Rs 8 per metre.
