Airtel Digital TV subscribers can now manage their DTH account through simple interaction on WhatsApp. To begin with, Airtel DTH users will be required to add the Airtel DTH WhatsApp number to their contacts and initiate a conversation.

  4. Type ‘Hi’ and select an option provided to you

The Airtel Care Bot will present several options to the user including account information, package detail, recharge information, service request, and set-top box ugrade among others. Additionally, users can check their balance info, available recharge offers, and top-up their account right from WhatsApp.

From the package information option, Airtel offers services like adding a channel, modifying the existing pack, and subscribing to a value added service. If you opt for adding a channel, the bot will present you with the list of channel best suited for you pack. Users simply need to reply with the number corresponding to their desired channel and make payment through a clickable payment gateway link.

This move from the DTH service provider streamlines a lot of facilities for the users within WhatsApp, which would otherwise require them to navigate through the Airtel Thanks app or the official website.
