Ever since Jio announced its Prime membership worth Rs 99, major telecom companies such as Airtel and Idea have come up with similar offers. Airtel in particular recently followed Jio’s footsteps and introduced a plan under which users get 1GB data/day worth Rs 343 up to 28 days.
Additionally, Airtel is also offering its users unlimited free on-net (Airtel to Airtel) calls under the same Rs 343 offer. However, it must be noted that 1GB data/day comes with a catch. Users can consume 500MB of data during daytime whereas rest of the data will be available to utilize between 3 AM – 5 AM.
Airtel has also come up with yet another plan worth Rs 349. Under this scheme, users get 14GB high-speed 4G data per month with 500MB/day consumption limit. In addition, users can make free unlimited calls to all networks. Airtel also announced a plan worth Rs 145 with 14GB data and free unlimited on-net calls up to 14 days.
In other news, Idea also announced a new plan, offering 14GB high-speed 4G data and free unlimited off-net calling for Rs 345. The offer, however, is valid up to 28 days and available for select users only.
