Airtel is currently rolling out a data offer that provides 30GB of 4G data to its postpaid users. The network operator had promised a surprise for its customers this Holi. Under this offer, existing users can enjoy 30GB of data for the next three months with a cap of 10GB/Month.
The data provided by Airtel under this offer is free, and users will have to claim this before 31st March 2017. Users who claim this will be allotted 10GB of additional data every month for the next three months. Customer will need to download the MyAirtel app for their respective app stores to avail this offer. Once it is claimed, Airtel will notify you via SMS. If you already have a data plan, this free data will be added to it, thereby increase your monthly limit.
Airtel had offered its prepaid users the Rs 343 plan a few weeks back. The plan allows users to get 28GB/month and enjoy free calling within the network. A similar Rs.349 plan enables free voice calls to all networks in addition to the Rs.343 plan.
Telecom operators have started rolling out lucrative offers to prevent its user base from shifting to Reliance Jio. With the Jio Prime offer, its customers can avail 28GB/month for Rs. 303 with a limit of 1GB of 4G data per day. Vodafone has rolled out a similar offer to select customers. They can enjoy 28GB/Month with a 1GB/Day cap for Rs. 346 along with free voice calling. It is interesting how Reliance Jio has managed to start a price war for data services. Do you agree?
