Airtel announced the Airtel-Zee5 Summer Bonanza promotional offer back in May 2020. As part of the Summer Bonanza promotional offer, Airtel was offering a free Zee5 Premium subscription to all of its Airtel Thanks users on Rs 149 and above prepaid plans. The telco has now ended the Summer Bonanza promotional offer and removed the free ZEE5 premium subscription from the previously eligible prepaid plans.

However, the Rs 289 plan, which was launched earlier this month is still offering the ZEE5 premium subscription to users. The plan is still listed on Airtel Thanks app and official website with the ZEE5 add on. The add-on is not showing for any other app on the Airtel Thanks app and website.

Airtel is now offering a ZEE5 premium subscription only on the Rs 289 plan
The newly introduced Rs 289 is still listed with free ZEE5 Premium subscription on the website as well as the app. The Airtel Rs 289 prepaid plan is being offered by the telco under its Airtel Special Recharge – STV Combo category.
The new plan has a validity of 28 days, and offers access to the complete ZEE5 catalogue, including premium content for the same duration. Those opting for the Rs 289 plan will also get Airtel Xstream Premium access and a Wynk Music subscription. Other free benefits include 1-year access to free online courses with Shaw Academy and free Hellotunes.
The Airtel Rs 289 plan also offers truly unlimited local, STD and roaming calls to any network in the country and 100 SMS per day. The plan also offers 1.5GB data per day for the duration of the validity, with a total of 42GB data.
Apart from the Rs 289 prepaid plan, Airtel had also launched a Rs 79 top-up pack that offered ZEE5 monthly premium access. Airtel has removed the benefit from this pack as wll. The plan offers talktime of Rs 64 at 60p/min for local and STD calls, and 200MB free data for 28 days.
