BSNL recently started offering a free yearly Amazon Prime subscription on postpaid plans worth Rs 399 and above. Now, Airtel has launched a new plan in India, which offers a free VIP subscription of the newly launched Disney+ Hotstar to its users. The VIP subscription is normally priced at Rs 399 per year, and includes Disney shows, movies and kids content in various Indian languages, along with regular Hotstar VIP content. Notably, Airtel already offers Netflix and Amazon Prime Video subscriptions to its users with various postpaid and prepaid recharges, With the new plan, Bharti Airtel has now collaborated with Disney+ Hotstar as well. Airtel Rs 401 prepaid pack details
Airtel’s newest prepaid data pack will set you back by Rs 401. For this price, you get 3GB of data for 28 days, but no voice calling and SMS benefits. However, users will be able to recharge any other prepaid plan on top of the Rs 401 recharge, including unlimited combo plans of any denomination for voice calls and SMS benefits.
Airtel has also announced that the prepaid users will be able to recharge with the new plan only once in 360 days to avoid misuse. Therefore, the data benefits will end post the validity date but the subscription will continue to be valid for a year from the first recharge. If the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription doesn’t interest you, Airtel is also offering a Rs 349 plan that comes with a validity of 28 days. The plan offers 2GB data per day, Amazon Prime subscription for 28 days, unlimited calls and 100 SMS every day. You can keep topping up with the same recharge monthly to keep the Amazon Prime subscription.
How to claim your free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription
To get the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription, the user needs to recharge their Airtel number with the Rs 401 plan. Airtel will then send them a link to activate a Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription. The subscription can also be activated from the Rewards section in the Airtel Thanks tab in the My Airtel app. Users will need to log in using the same number which was recharged with the new plan.
