Airtel Rs 79 prepaid recharge pack: benefits, validity
With the Rs 49 recharge plan gone, the Rs 79 pack is now the entry-level recharge plan from the telecom operator. While the telecom operator has reduced the talktime from Rs 128 to Rs 65, the maximum outgoing minutes of usage has been increased to 106 minutes for this plan. The calls will be charged at 1p/sec for both local and STD. As for data, users will get 200MB data for the duration of validity, which is 28 days. Airtel has announced that the new changes will be effective from July 29th.
Apart from this, Airtel now has just one more smart recharge pack in the denomination of Rs 128. This plan offers no calling, data, or SMS benefit to the users. Instead, they get 28 days of validity, which is ideal for those who just want validity. However, users on this plan can make calls at 2.5p/sec and send SMS at Rs 1 and Rs 1.5, locally and nationally respectively. Data will be charged at 50p/MB with this plan.
