Leading private telecom operators like Airtel and Vodafone Idea, as well as state-run BSNL are offering various recharge plans with a free subscription to one service or other. This is a good way to ensure that the subscriber base sticks with the telecom operator.
Bharti Airtel has been offering a complimentary ZEE5 subscription to its Platinum-tier postpaid customers for a while now, where users can avail a ZEE5 premium subscription as long as they stay on the Platinum-tier. Airtel has now expanded this benefit to all Airtel Thanks prepaid, postpaid and broadband subscribers.

As mentioned before, Airtel Platinum postpaid users get a free ZEE5 subscription till the time they stay on the Platinum tier. Airtel is offering the same benefit to all Silver and Gold tier prepaid, postpaid and broadband users who are part of the Airtel Thanks program. However, in this case it is only for two months.
According to Airtel’s website, prepaid customers can avail free Zee5 subscription by recharging with Rs. 149 and above plans. For postpaid and broadband users, they need to be on the Gold tier to be eligible for this offer. Postpaid users who are on a monthly rental plan below Rs 499 and broadband subscribers on a rental plan below Rs 999 fall in Gold tier.

The Airtel Thanks Summer Bonanza Offer with free ZEE5 subscription is now live
To claim your free ZEE5 subscription, open the My Airtel app and go to the ‘Discover Airtel Thanks’ section on the top. You will find ZEE5 Unlimited Subscription tab under the benefits tab. When you click on the benefit, you will be asked to enter your mobile number, date of birth and gender. Once you have done that, it will verify your number through an OTP. Once verified, you will be taken to the ZEE5 app and your subscription will be activated for two months. The offer is available from May 4th to July 12th, 2020.
