While telecom operators in India have been launching attractive plans and recharge packs to encourage users to work from home, Airtel has now launched a work from home plan exclusively for corporates, which might have to adhere to working from home for the forseeable future.
Airtel launched a new Rs 2,498 plan for individuals offering 2GB data per day for 365 days with unlimited calling and SMS benefits. Now, the company has launched a new work from home solution called Airtel Work@home to provide both wired and wireless connectivity to small businesses in the country. Airtel Work@Home plan details
Airtel is claiming that the new Work@Home plan is India’s first enterprise grade solution designed to enable employees operate efficiently and securely from their homes. The telco is offering broadband and 4G connections, collaboration tools and virtual private network (VPN) connections as part of the package. The collaboration tools include Google Meet, Zoom and Cisco WebX as options.
Airtel Work@Home plan offers “Priority 4G Data SIM with Free G-Suite” and “Corporate Mi-Fi with Free G-Suite” plans starting at Rs 399 per month, with latter requiring a one-time device installation cost of Rs 2,000. The Priority 4G Data SIM plan offers superfast Airtel Priority 4G data SIM, complimentary unlimited video conferencing, 30GB/ user secure cloud storage, and free G-Suite. The Corporate Mi-Fi with Free G-Suite plan, on the other hand, provides 50GB Priority 4G data per month along with complimentary G Suite license.
There’s also an “Airtel Corporate Broadband” plan, starting at Rs 799, which allows businesses to extend a reliable network to their employee’s home, which offers speeds up to 1Gbps and unlimited local/STD calls. Airtel is also providing customised packs of “MPLS over 4G”, which lets companies extend their private and secure MPLS network to their employee’s home with first-of-its-kind MPLS over 4G solution from Airtel.
Apart from these, Bharti Airtel is offering Work@Home smart add-ons including priority 4G corporate postpaid SIM with free G-Suite, unlimited calls and 50GB 4G data. There’s also a provisioned VPN solution provided by the company.
