One of the largest telecom operators in India, Airtel is now offering its Airtel Xstream subscription to everyone in the country. Notably, the service was earlier restricted only to the Airtel users but now anyone in India can purchase the subscription and enjoy live streaming. The Airtel Xstream service is bundled with several plans from the telco and those who are not on the eligible plan could purchase the annual Airtel Xstream membership for Rs 499.

The Airtel Xstream service lets users watch live TV, movies, and original shows, among others on their smartphones. The platform offers over 350 live TV channels to its users and the telco keeps expanding the channel list every now and then. Airtel Xstream subscription price in India for non-Airtel users
As mentioned before, Airtel users who are on a plan that doesn’t offer Airtel Xstream need to shell out Rs 499 in order to get the service. The price of the subscription remains the same for non-Airtel users as well. For Rs 499, users will get a year’s subscription to the Airtel Xstream. However, Airtel has mentioned that the Rs 499 price tag for non-Airtel users is an introductory price.
Airtel Xstream subscription benefits
Those who purchase the Airtel Xstream annual membership will be able to download and watch premium content listed on the Airtel Xstream app and website. The app offers over 350 live TV channels, whereas the website has just over 100 TV channels. Airtel announced that it has added 73 new TV channels across sports, entertainment and news genres.
The live TV channels on Airtel Xstream service are being offered in Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Assamese, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Gujarati and Urdu. Apart from the live channels, the streaming service also offers over 10,000 movies and hundreds of TV shows as well. These movies and shows are from other OTT services like Voot, ZEE5, Hungama, Eros Now, ShareIt, YouTube, ShemarooMe, Ultra and Curiosity Stream.
Other features of the Airtel Xstream service include ‘Catch Up TV’ that lets users watch TV shows from last seven days and Chromecast support.
