Qualcomm is reportedly working on two Snapdragon 7-series chipsets with model numbers SM7475 and SM77550. Reports have claimed that these chipsets would be called the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively. The former is expected to debut as early as the end of this month, whereas the latter may go official in the second half of this year.
Some of the phones that are expected to feature the new chip include the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, Realme GT Neo 5 SE, and Honor 90 series. Brands like OPPO and Vivo are also expected to release phones with the new chip onboard in the coming months. Ahead of its expected launch, the SM7475 chipset has appeared on Geekbench to reveal key details on its configurations and GPU.

Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 chipset configuration
The alleged Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1 chipset-powered engineering device has appeared on Geekbench. The CPU information mentioned in the listing reveals that it has a prime CPU core clocking at 2.92GHz, three CPU cores working at 2.50GHz, and four CPU cores clocking at 1.80GHz. The source code of the listing reveals that the chipset is equipped with an Adreno 725 GPU.
The device has 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 13 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the engineering unit scored 1215 and 4064 points, respectively. Rumours surrounding it have revealed that the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen1 will be built by TSMC with its 4nm manufacturing process.
Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 phones (rumoured)
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is likely to be the first SD7+G1 phone to launch in China. The device is expected to launch by the end of March. Rumours are rife that the global market, including India, will receive the same device in April as the POCO F5 5G. The Note 12 Turbo / POCO F5 is expected to arrive with key specifications, such as a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 5,500mah battery with 67W charging.
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE (aka GT Neo 5 Lite), which is expected to launch in April, is also expected to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 chip. It is likely to come with specs like a 6.74-inch OLED 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 64-megapixel triple rear cameras, Realme UI 4.0-based Android 13 OS, and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging.
