The latest offerings share most of the same features but differ in design. They also come with improvements over their predecessors. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications of Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2 below.

Amazfit GTR 2 specifications and features

The Amazfit GTR 2 is significantly thinner than the first-gen GTR. It retains the 1.39-inch AMOLED display in a circular dial with reduced bezels. There are two crowns on the right side. The smartwatch is offered in Sports and Classic variants with the former featuring an aluminium body and the latter made up of stainless steel. The Amazfit GTR 2 is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

The Amazfit GTR 2 features a new SpO2 sensor to measure the oxygen levels in the blood. It is equipped with the latest BioTracker 2 PPG sensor for 24-hour heart rate monitoring. There is a sleep tracker and PAI health system as well. The smartwatch offers support for 12 indoor and outdoor sports modes. It comes with a built-in GPS for tracking outdoor activities.

The Amazfit GTR 2 packs 4GB internal storage allowing users to play music via Bluetooth without requiring a smartphone. Users can also answer phone calls since the wearable device features an inbuilt microphone, but the smartphone needs to be connected since it doesn’t support e-SIM. The feature was absent on its predecessor.

The Amazfit GTR 2 is backed by a 471mAh battery unit that is claimed to last up to 14 days with regular use and up to 38 days in basic mode.

Amazfit GTS 2 specifications and features

The Amazfit GTS 2 retains the same design as its predecessor with rectangular dial and a 1.65-inch AMOLED display. However, the smartwatch shares the same specifications and features as the Amazfit GTR 2. The GTS 2 sports an aluminium alloy build and features a diamond-like carbon coating for additional protection.

The Amazfit GTS 2 borrows health-related features from the GTR 2. It packs 12 sports modes (with 90 more coming in the future), blood oxygen monitor and 24-hour heart rate tracking and PAI. There is also 4GB storage, built-in GPS and microphone for the ability to receive calls.

The Amazfit GTS 2 is powered by a slightly larger 246mAh battery compared to its predecessor but it is smaller than the GTR 2. The smartwatch is claimed to last for seven days with regular usage and 20 days in basic mode.
