Amazfit PowerBuds Pro TWS earphones have launched globally. They are the successor to last year’s Amazfit Powerbuds and the latest offering comes with upgraded specifications.

The Amazfit PowerBuds Pro packs a host of advanced health-centric features along with long-lasting battery life. It is capable of tracking the user’s heartbeat and also detecting sitting postures. The earphones look similar to Apple’s AirPods Pro. Read on to know what the Amazfit PowerBuds Pro offers out of the box.

The Amazfit PowerBuds Pro comes with an AirPods Pro-like design with an in-ear silicone earplugs. They are IP55 certified dust and water-resistant. The TWS earphones come with touch controls and smart in-ear detection that automatically stops playing music when one earbud is removed from the ear. 

The Amazfit PowerBuds Pro are equipped with a built-in PPG heart-rate sensor that plays an alert if an abnormal heart rate is detected. They also have a built-in accelerometer that tracks the user’s cervical spine and will play a sound that will remind them to move and stretch their head and neck to improve the posture. The TWS earphones are also capable of tracking running, and display sports data via the Zepp Health app. The device also keeps tabs on the audio levels in real-time and follows WHO’s recommended standards by offering suggestions on volume reduction to help protect the user’s hearing. 

On the audio front, the Amazfit PowerBuds Pro pack active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 40dB with four modes including indoor, travel, sports, and adaptive. There is a Thru mode that lets users stay aware of their surroundings. The TWS earphones are equipped with three mics for crystal clear sound quality. 

The Amazfit PowerBuds Pro work with Sir and Google Assistant. They support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with a transmission distance of 10 meters. The TWS earphones are compatible with Android and iOS devices running on version 5.0 or 10.0 and above respectively. The Amazfit PowerBuds Pro are claimed to offer a battery life of up to 30 hours with the charging case that packs a 510mAh battery unit. Each earbud packs a 68mAh cell that is said to offer 9 and 5 hours of playback with ANC enabled and disabled respectively.

The Amazfit PowerBuds Pro are priced at $150 (~Rs 11,200) and come in a Frost White colour. They will be available for pre-order from July 15th in the US from Amazfit’s official website. India availability has not been revealed yet, but since the Amazfit PowerBuds are available in the country, we can expect the latest offering to arrive as well.
