Amazfit Stratos 3 with 80 sports modes and up to 14 day battery life launched in India: price, specifications

Huami launched its first rugged smartwatch called the Amazfit T-Rex in India earlier this month. The smartwatch comes with 12 military certifications and MIL-STD-810G compliance as its highlights. Apart from that, it features 5ATM water resistance, 14 sports modes, an AMOLED display and 20-day battery life.

Now, the company has launched yet another smartwatch in the country called the Amazfit Stratos 3. The new watch comes as the most expensive smartwatch  from the brand in India. The key features of the watch include built-in storage for music, 80 sports modes, 5ATM water resistance and more.

The Amazfit Stratos 3 smartwatch comes with a 1.34-inch circular AMOLED display with 320 x 320 pixels resolution and a transflective panel. The circular dial of the smartwatch is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has an anti-fingerprint coating on top. The smartwatch boots Amazfit OS and is powered by a 300mAh battery. The watch is compatible with devices running Android 5 Lollipop or iOS 10.0 and above

The company claims that the watch can last up to up to seven days on smart mode and 14-days on ultra-endurance mode. Huami also claims that the smartwatch can offer up to 70 hours of GPS usage on a single charge. Speaking of the battery, it takes 2.5 hours to fully charge. The watch can be charged via its 4-pin POGO connector.

The Amazfit Stratos 3 features 80 sports modes, including snowboarding, skiing, outdoor skating, fencing, karate and more. There are numerous sensors onboard including a PPG bio-tracking optical sensor, 6-axis accelerometer, 3-axis geomagnetic sensor, and ambient light sensor. Other features include VO2Max, Exercise Effect (TE), Exercise Load (TD), and Recovery Time Data tracking. There’s internal storage enough to store around 400 songs on the watch, which you can listen to by connecting a Bluetooth headset.

Speaking of connectivity, the watch offers NFC, GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth 4.2, BLE5.0, and Wi-Fi. The smartwatch is also 5ATM water-resistant, which means it can survive in water up to 50 meters. Design-wise, the Amazfit Stratos 3 features four physical buttons, a stainless steel dial, and a silicone strap.

Huami has priced the Amazfit Stratos 3 at Rs 13,999 in India. The smartwatch can be brought from the official Amazfit website and Flipkart starting 8pm tonight i.e. June 22nd.
