Huami has launched the Amazfit T-Rex Pro in India. The latest offering is the successor to last year’s Amazfit T-Rex. It is a rugged smartwatch with MIL-STD-810G certified durability.
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro had debuted globally earlier this week. The India variant has the same specifications and features as the global version. The smartwatch will compete against the likes of Mi Watch Revolve, Realme Watch S Pro, Amazfit GTR 2 / GTS, OPPO Watch and others in the sub-Rs 15,000 price bracket.
Amazfit T-Rex Pro specifications and features
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro features a circular 1.3-inch screen with AMOLED panel bearing a 360 x 360 pixels resolution. The display is layered with Corning Gorilla Glass and anti-fingerprint coating. The smartwatch boasts military-grade durability and is water-resistant up to 10 meters.
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro packs 100+ sports modes with the FirstBeat algorithm that displays accomplishments after each challenge. It is equipped with a second-generation PPG optical sensor for 24×7 heart rate monitoring. There is also a SpO2 sensor and a sleep tracker.
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro runs on RTOS out of the box. It comes with features like notification display, music control, alarms, event reminders, always-on display mode, sunrise/sunset monitor etc. The smartwatch features a built-in GPS along with GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is backed by a 390mAh battery unit that is capable of lasting up to 18 days under typical usage and 9 days with heavy usage. It is claimed to offer 40 hours of battery life in GPS mode. The smartwatch can be topped up via a magnetic charging base.

The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is priced at Rs 12,999 and can be availed in Meteorite Black, Desert Grey and Steel Blue colours. It will be available for purchase on Amazon as well as Amazfit.com from March 28th, 12pm onwards.
