Wearables-maker Amazfit has today come out with a brand smartwatch that is a cut above its usual products. The Amazfit X is currently listed on the crowdfunding website Indiegogo and it’s biggest standout feature is quite definitely the curved AMOLED display that sort of wraps around your wrist.
Amazfit X specifications and features
The Amazfit X has a 2.07-inch AMOLED panel which bends at a 92-degree angle around the wrist. For a curved, touchscreen panel the device is no slouch having a HD display (366 ppi) with 400 nits of brightness. Amazfit has said that it can display 250 percent more data than the Apple Watch Series 4 (40mm).
Apart from the screen, the only other way to interact with the Amazfit X is a pressure-sensitive sensor on the right side of the watch which can be used for navigating through the device. Speaking of navigation, the Amazfit X also happens to have a dual-GPS system which will help with tracking the location data of the user. The Amazfit X is water-resistant for up to 5 ATM.
The company says that the Amazfit X will last about seven full days on a single charge. The Amazfit X also has a 24-hour real-time heart-rate monitoring system. The device can be charged using the proprietary magnetic charging cable.
In terms of fitness tracking, the Amazfit X offers nine sports modes which include treadmill, open water swimming, outdoor running and more. One can also track your sleep with the Amazfit X along with measuring stress levels and more. You can also personalise the smartwatch with custom watch faces and nearly 40 widgets.
