Amazon Assistant was launched last year as an app and browser extension. Now, Amazon users can install it on their device and get a chance to win Rs 499 as an Amazon Pay balance. With the announcement that Prime Day starts on July 26th, Amazon is pushing this contest where participants stand a chance to win Rs 499 in the form of Amazon Pay balance.

What is Amazon Assistant Contest?

Amazon Assistant compares prices between online retailers i.e. if you find a product on Flipkart, the tool will check to see if it is available on Amazon and also show the price of the same. Apart from product comparison, Amazon Assistant offers a 30-day price tracker that shows the lowest and highest price of the product in the last 30 days. Users also get order updates, wish lists, and new deals daily with Amazon Assistant. 

Amazon Assistant is available as a browser extension and it is compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Opera. The tool also works with Android devices. Now, Amazon Assistant is being pitched to customers via a contest where select participants stand a chance to win Rs 499 as Amazon Pay balance. All you need to do is install a browser extension and participate in the contest.

Amazon Assistant Contest: how to participate

The Amazon Assistant contest will commence on July 8th and end on July 25th. You will need to install the Chrome extension to participate. Take a look at the steps below. 

  • Visit the Amazon Assistant home page or click on this link.
  • Click on the yellow installation button that will redirect you to the extension page store. 
  • Click on ‘Add to Chrome’ button.
  • Check the Amazon icon in the extension bar that is located on the right side of the address bar.
  • Tap on the ‘Answer a question and get chance to win Rs 499’ banner.
  • You will be redirected to the quiz page where you can select your quiz answer.

Amazon Assistant Contest: eligibility

There are certain eligibility criteria that Amazon users must follow to participate in the quiz

  • Participants should be individual legal residents of the Republic of India and must have set their current country as India in account settings on Amazon.
  • Participants should be above the age of 18 to enter the contest.
  • To be eligible for the contest, participants must have their Amazon account and Amazon Assistant browser extension installed on their device

Amazon Assistant Contest: date of winner announcement

During the time of Amazon Assistant contest, participants have to answer the quiz questions correctly and only 100  of them will be selected at a random to win Rs 499 Amazon Pay Balance in the form of Amazon Pay Gift cards. Amazon will declare the winners of the contest by August 20th, 2021 on Amazon Assistant home page. The winners will also be contacted through email.
