Amazon says that it has combined the best of Echo and Echo Plus into the new Echo (4th gen). The latest offering features an all-new spherical shape design and a fabric finish. The LED light ring is now located at the base of the device instead of the top on previous generations.
The Amazon Echo (4th gen) is equipped with 3-inch neodymium woofer and two 0.8-inch tweeters. It is powered by Dolby Audio for delivering stereo sound with high, dynamic mids and deep bass. The smart speaker is designed to automatically sense the acoustics of the user’s space and fine-tune the audio playback accordingly. The Echo (4th gen) also comes with 4 microphones and a dedicated mute button to turn it off when users don’t want to access Alexa. The smart speaker is capable of streaming music from Amazon Prime Music, JioSaavn, Gaana, Hungama Music and Spotify.

With Alexa, users can also control other devices in their home, set timers, create reminders and events and even pay utility bills through the Echo (4th gen). There is also a tap-to-snooze feature on the speaker for snoozing alarms.
Connectivity options on the Echo (4th gen) include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
