Amazon Fire TV Stick users can get up to 60% discount on OTT subscriptions: ZEE5, Sony Liv, Discovery+ and more included

Amazon India offers Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cuebe users access to discounted subscriptions of major OTT platforms. The offer first went live in October 2020. This time the brand is offering discounts on 15 OTT apps.

The discounted price is valid if you purchase the subscriptions from the Fire TV interface. The list of streaming platforms Lionsgate Play, Aha, Discovery+, Docubay, Epic, Eros Now, Hoichoi, Hungama Play, Shemaroo Me, Sony LIV, Voot, Voot Kids and ZEE5. Major platforms like Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar are missing from the list however.   

Amazon Fire TV discounts on OTT subscriptions: how to avail it

In order to avail the discount, users just need to select their chosen app on their respective Fire TV sticks and complete the payment via credit card, debit card, or netbanking. The discounts on the OTT platforms are based on their annual subscription. The offer is a limited period one, but Amazon hasn’t mentioned the end date like it did for previous offers.

From the list, Docubay gets a big discount of Rs 279. The price of  Zee5 is discounted by Rs 300. Meanwhile, Sony Liv, Eros Now, and Epic On get up to Rs 250 discount. Customers can subscribe to VOOT, Discovery+, ALT Balaji and Eros Now with Rs 100 off on the annual price.
