Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max has been launched in India. It is the e-commerce giant’s most advanced streaming stick to date. The latest offering packs significant upgrades and is more powerful than the Fire TV Stick 4K.
Commenting on the launch, Amazon Devices India Head, Parag Gupta said “With Fire TV Stick 4K Max, we have taken the best-selling streaming media player and made it even better with a faster experience and the latest connectivity that provides seamless streaming without slowing down your home Wi-Fi.”
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max specifications and features
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max has the same design as the previous generation streaming devices. It comes with the latest Alexa voice remote with dedicated power, volume and mute keys, along with four preset buttons. The latest offering supports 4K UHD resolution. Formats like HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision formats are all supported. It goes without saying that users need to have compatible TVs to view 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision content. The streaming device also offers Dolby Atmos audio support on select Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney+ Hotstar titles.
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is equipped with a MediaTek MT8696 quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. It is coupled with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The streaming device is the first from Amazon to support the next-generation Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for a faster and smoother experience. The e-commerce giant says that the Fire TV Stick 4K Max works with existing routers as well to enjoy the benefits of Wi-Fi 6. The streaming service also features Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
With the Alexa voice remote, users can search for content, control playback, and manage smart home devices via voice commands. On the Fire TV 4K Max, users can view live camera feeds without pausing the show with a PiP mode.
Fire TV Stick 4K Max price in India
The latest Fire Tv Stick 4K Max carries a price tag of Rs 6,499 and is available for pre-order starting today on Amazon and Amazon kiosks in select malls. The shipments will commence from October 7th, 2021.
