Amazon Prime Day 2019: New TVs Launched By LG, TCL, Blaupunkt And More

Amazon’s Prime Day Sale is currently underway. There are also newly launched products across categories. In this post, we have curated a list of first-time launches in televisions. Let’s take a look below:

The LG 4K UHD Smart LED TV is available in 43 and 55-inch display sizes. Both the TVs feature 4K UHD resolution with a 50Hz refresh rate. The TVs come with 4K active HDR, 4K upscaler and DTS Virtual:X. The LG 4K UHD Smart TV offers 20W sound output. The TVs are equipped with an LG graphics processor paired with 1.5GB RAM. They run WebOS software and come with pre-loaded apps like Netflix, Hotstar, Prime Video, YouYube, etc. The TVs feature inbuilt Alexa and Google Assistant along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

TCL AI 4K UHD Certified Android Smart TV:

The TCL P8E is a 55-inch Android Smart TV bearing a 4K UHD resolution. The TV comes with a host of AI features and specifications. The TV comes with AI Picture Engine, Scene Picture Enhancement Technology, Brightness Precision Control, and Dynamic Picture Adjustment. The TV features HDR 10 that produces vivid and realistic images. The TCL P8E is equipped with stereo box speakers and Dolby Audio for optimizing sound quality. 

On the hardware front, the TCL P8E is powered by a quad-core CPU paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The TV runs Android 9 Pie OS with access to the Google ecosystem and apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. It also comes with built-in Chromecast that allows users to share smartphone content wirelessly. The TV features AI Interconnection that connects with other smart home devices. There is a hands-free AI voice interaction called Far-Field Voice Search that lets users control the TV through voice commands. The TCL P8E comes with Google Assistant and Alexa support. Connectivity-wise, the TV features 3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports.

TCL 4K UHD Smart TVs:

Alongside introducing the AI 4K certified Android TV, TCL also launched UHD smart TV range in 43,50, and 55-inches display size. All three TVs boasts a 4K UHD resolution with support for HDR Pro, 4K upscaling, and Micro Dimming feature. The TVs come with 20W sound output tuned by DTS Dolby Digital. 

Under the hood, the UHD Smart LED TV range is equipped with a dual-core CPU and GPU coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The TVs run on Linux based operating system and comes with pre-installed YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video and TV+ app store. The TVs also feature a dedicated Netflix button on the bundled remote. The UHD Smart LED TV range is compatible with Amazon Alexa.

Blaupunkt latest TV sports a 55-inch display bearing a 4K QLED resolution of 3,480 x 2,160 pixels. It features custom Quantum Dot technology, 100 percent colour volume, and distortion-free viewing from every angle. The QLED TV comes with a 60Hz refresh rate and HDR X support. The TV flaunts a slim metallic bezel frame with ultra-thin design measuring 7.9-inches for immersive viewing experience. On the audio front, the Blaupunkt QLED TV is equipped with Dolby Digital and DTS Surround Sound for crystal clear sound quality. 

In terms of hardware, the Blaupunkt QLED TV is equipped with a dual-core Cortex A73 processor paired with Mali-450 GPU. It runs on Android 7 Nougat OS and comes with preloaded apps like Netflix, Hotstar, Youtube, and Spotify. The TV features an inbuilt Wi-Fi and comes with Smart Air Mouse Remote which is voice-enabled.
