Apple is working on a new Foldable iPad and is planning to launch the device in 2024. According to the report, the company will not introduce any new iPad in the coming 9 to 12 months.
On Monday, ming-Chi Kuo, a popular Apple Analyst, wrote, “I’m optimistic about the foldable iPad in 2024, and I anticipate that this new model will increase shipments and improve the product mix.”
According to Kuo, the next iPad refresh will be via the iPad Mini, which will not be available until 2024. According to the analyst, the iPad Mini update is “expected” to go into mass production in the first quarter of 2024.
Kuo also stated that a foldable iPad would have a carbon fibre kickstand sourced from Chinese manufacturer Anjie Technology.
Last year, Apple introduced the iPad’s tenth generation with 5G and USB Type-C charging at a starting price of Rs 44,900. The 12.9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pro with M2 chip was added for Rs 1,12,900 and Rs 81,900, respectively.
However, before the foldable iPad, the company is preparing to unveil its first mixed-reality headset at WWDC 2023 in June. It is expected to be called Reality Pro and is said to cost around $3,000.
