How to watch Apple iPhone 11 launch live stream
For the first time in the history of Apple, the phonemaker has announced that the event will be live streamed on YouTube. This comes as a surprise, since earlier the event streaming was limited only to an Apple device or Microsoft’s Edge browser on Windows 10. The new decision can be attributed to Apple’s willingness to broaden its horizon and reach a wider base as Youtube is accessible to everyone. The event will take place at 10am PDT, which is 10.30pm India time and you can watch the video below.
Apple iPhone 11 specifications
There have been contradicting rumours regarding the variants of the latest iPhones. Some leaks suggested that Apple has three models lined up called iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. However, a recent leak via Nood Cases suggested that these phones will be called iPhone XIR 11, iPhone XI 11 Pro and iPhone XI 11 Pro Max. On the software front, the phones will boot iOS 13 out of the box. As for performance, the rumours suggest that the latest iPhones will be powered by the newest Apple A13 SoC, which is a 2.66GHz hexa-core chipset with 4GB of RAM according to Geekbench.
Another leak had ousted the entire spec sheet of all three phones. The iPhone 11 is expected to feature a 6.1-inch LCD display, dual 12MP setup on the back, 12MP front camera, 3,110mAh battery and 64GB/256GB/512GB storage variants. The iPhone 11 Pro will flaunt a 5.8-inch OLED display, 6GB RAM, 12MP front camera, triple 12MP rear setup, 3,190mAh battery and up to 512GB storage. The iPhone 11 Pro Max will retain all specs of the Pro model but with a larger 6.5-inch OLED display and 3,500mAh battery. Both Pro models will have Apple Pencil support and all three models will feature wireless charging. There are also talks of these smartphones featuring in-display fingerprint scanner, however, Apple will likely stick to its Face ID.
Apple iPhone 11 Price
Leaks in the past have suggested that the top end Pro Max variant will cost over $1,099 (~Rs 79,000), while the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 are expected to retail for $999 (~Rs 72,000) and $749 (~Rs 54,000) respectively. We suggest taking this bit of information with pinch of salt as Apple is known for pricing its phones exorbitantly in India, case in point being the iPhone XS and XS Max, retailing for a price tag over Rs 1 Lakh.
