Apple recently unveiled its flagship 2019 iPhones which include the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max. The lineup is set to go on sale in India from September 27th with prices starting at Rs 64,900 for the base variant of thee iPhone 11 and going up to Rs 1,41,900 for the top-end iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Now, according to a report by Gadgets360, Apple has discontinued last year’s iPhone XS Max to make way for the new iPhone 11 models. The iPhone XS Max was launched in September 2018. Depending on the storage variant, it was priced from Rs 1,09,900 to Rs 1,44,900. The report states that the iPhone XS Max is no longer on sale apart from the existing stocks that may already be with retailers. Once the device goes out of stock, it will be officially discontinued making way for its successor i.e. iPhone 11 Pro Max. The discontinuation makes sense since buyers with a higher budget will opt for iPhone 11 Pro or Pro Max instead of the year-old iPhone XS Max.
With the launch of new iPhones, the Cupertino based company also revised the pricing of its older devices in India. The prices of last year’s iPhone XR, and iPhone XS have been slashed. Apple also dropped the prices of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone 7 Plus. This makes older devices an attractive option for buyers who are not willing to shell money on new devices but still want an iPhone. Take a look below at the new and old prices of iPhone models:
