Apple is now World’s No. 1 watch brand overtaking from Rolex. The brand is further giving an impetus to health and fitness via the Apple Watch. It will now notify if your heart rate is elevated quickly in case you are inactive. Watch OS 4 will be available to customers starting September 19th.
The Apple Watch Series 3 comes with cellular connectivity, which means it will act like a standalone device. You can use your Apple Watch without having your iPhone anywhere closeby. Apple Music is now introduced in the Watch which will give you access to more than 40 million songs.
In terms of design, the Apple Watch Series 3 packs in more radios, and better internals all bearing the same overall size as the Apple Watch Series 2. To keep the watch as compact as possible, the company has integrated the cellular band right into the display of the watch. The device is made of similar materials as the predecessor which proved its robustness over time.
The Apple Watch Series 3 now supports cellular TV through an electronic SIM that is a fraction of the nano-SIM. The Watch Series is powered by the new dual-core W3 chip which Apple claims is 70 percent faster than its predecessor, the W2 chip found on the Apple Watch Series 2.
The Apple Watch will be available in two base variants – a cellular version which will cost $399 (roughly Rs. 25500) and the non cellular version which will cost $329 (roughly Rs. 25,000). The Watch will be also be available in the Nike Plus Exclusive colours, together with a large variety of bands which will also be available. The Watch Series will be available for orders starting September 15th. It’ll be available on September 22nd.
