At its highly anticipated 2023 Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple made a remarkable announcement by unveiling the all-new 15-inch MacBook Air. According to Apple, this cutting-edge device is poised to revolutionize the laptop market and claim the coveted title of “the world’s best 15-inch laptop.”

Apple MacBook Air 15-inch Price

Apple has unveiled the pricing details for its new model, with the 15.3-inch MacBook Air starting at $1,299 approx. Rs 1,34,900 ($1,199  approx. Rs 1,24,900 for the education sector).This highly anticipated laptop will hit the market as early as next week, providing eager customers with an opportunity to experience its groundbreaking features. Meanwhile, Apple has also made updates to the pricing of its smaller models. The 13-inch MacBook Air equipped with the advanced M2 chipset now starts at $1,099, while the base model featuring the M1 processor is now priced at $999. These price adjustments offer customers a range of options to choose from based on their budget and desired specifications.

Apple MacBook Air 15-inch Specifications

Apple asserts that its latest technological marvel, the 15.3-inch MacBook Air laptop, surpasses its predecessor, the 13-inch MacBook Air, in terms of speed and performance with its remarkable M2 chipset. Additionally, Apple proudly declares that this laptop holds the distinguished honour of being the world’s top-selling laptop. When it comes to specifications, the laptop features an incredibly slim 11.5mm display, exuding brilliance with its impressive 500 nits of brightness.

During the announcement, Apple made bold claims about the impressive capabilities of the new MacBook Air. According to Apple, this latest iteration will leave its Intel-based predecessors in the dust, boasting a staggering 12 times faster performance. Additionally, the new MacBook Air is said to provide an extraordinary battery life of up to 18 hours, allowing users to stay productive throughout the day.

”The 1080p FaceTime HD camera on MacBook Air is perfect for FaceTime calls and video conferencing. Combined with the processing power of the advanced image signal processor on M2, users will look great on video calls. A three-mic array captures clean audio using advanced beamforming algorithms, so users come through loud and clear on video calls,” reads the official blog post.

Apple further emphasized that its new laptop outshines its 15-inch Windows counterparts, with double the performance, double the brightness and 50 percent more battery life. Although Apple did not specify the exact Windows model on stage, they made it clear that the new MacBook Air raises the bar in terms of overall performance and endurance.
