iPhone SE 3 5G
The highlight of Apple ‘Peek Performance’ event is expected to be the widely rumoured iPhone SE 3 5G. It will arrive as the successor to the iPhone SE 2020 that debuted in April 2020. The upcoming offering is expected to retain the same design as its predecessor. However, leaked renders have hinted at an iPhone XR-like notched display and no Touch ID. The iPhone SE 3 5G will reportedly be powered by Apple’s Bionic A15 processor that is found on the current generation iPhone 13 series. The device will also come with support for 5G connectivity.

Apple’s mid-range iPad Air is also due to get an update since the last generation iPad Air 4 was announced way back in 2020. The iPad Air sits between the budget iPad Mini and the flagship iPad Pro offerings. The upcoming iPad Air 5 is tipped to feature a 10.9-inch display while also retaining the same design from its predecessor. The tablet will reportedly be powered by a new chipset with support for 5G connectivity on the LTE variants. Apart from a smartphone and a tablet, Apple is also rumoured to announce a new MacBook powered by Apple Silicon. It is likely to the next generation Apple M2 chipset. There is not much information known about the upcoming offering, but it is expected to be MacBook Air. Two more Mac devices with M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets are also doing the rounds on the rumour mill.
Apart from the hardware products, Apple is expected to publicly release iOS 15.4 update at the ‘Peek Performance’ event. It is already under the beta testing phase. The upcoming software version will include features like Face ID while wearing masks, Universal Control, and new Emojis.
