Apple iPod touch: specifications and features
The new Apple iPod touch has a 4-inch display panel and a physical home button. The music player is powered by the A10 Fusion chipset, which allows it to support Group FaceTime and AR experiences. It has been launched in three variants – 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. It works with Apple Music or the iTunes Store. Apple Music subscribers can gain access to more than 50 million songs, playlists, Beats 1 and daily curated selections. Along with creating playlists, listeners can also watch music videos, listen to exclusive Beats 1 shows on demand and share music.
In the gaming area, users can subscribe to Apple Arcade later this year, which offers more than 100 new games without ads or additional purchases, and the ability to download games for offline play. The iPod touch can also bring 3D objects to life with the help of AR experiences.
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Product Marketing said, “We’re making the most affordable iOS device even better with a performance that is twice as fast as before, Group FaceTime and augmented reality. The ultra-thin and lightweight design of iPod touch has always made it ideal for enjoying games, music and so much more wherever you go.”
