In today’s Apple event, the brand launched the Apple TV 4K which comes with 4K support. The TV is touted to provide exceptional sharpness and image quality. Let’s take a look at everything new it has to offer.
The Apple TV 4K comes with two major enhancements over its predecessor: It has 4K picture quality and comes with Dolby 4K HDR. Both of the features will make the TV viewing experience more immersive.
The new Apple TV will feature a refreshed user interface which makes it look even cleaner. It comes with an A10X chipset which is the same one featuring in the iPad Pro. Owing to this, the Apple TV 4K will now be twice as fast of the current model. Even the GPU will be four times faster than the current Apple TV.
With the new Apple TV, when you buy any HD content from iTunes, Apple will upgrade it to 4K for you without any additional cost. Content from all major services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime among others will be available in the Apple TV 4K. Along with this, even local TV channels from multiple countries will be available for users.
Apple TV 4K will also allow users to view live sports and also, if you have your favourite teams selected, it will prioritize those over others.
The latest Apple TV is priced at $179 with 32GB of internal storage and $199 with 64GB. Preorders for the new device start September 15th and it will be available from September 22nd.
