Intex, the Indian OEM has launched another budget phone, yet again. Intex has been constantly striving to aggressively price their smartphones and the Aqua Style III is their latest device which will follow this trend. The Aqua Style III is priced at Rs. 4,299 which puts it in the low-cost smartphone segment but it features specifications that make it a bang-for-the-buck device.

In terms of specifications, the Aqua Style III features a quad-core processor from Spreadtrum clocking at 1.3GHz which is built to sport 32-bit architecture. On top of this processor, the Aqua Style III also integrates a Mali 400 GPU to get you through some moderate graphic demands.

On the display front, the phone features a 5-inch FWVGA panel that sports a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The display is capable of reproducing 16.7 million colours and bears a pixel density of about 296 which although being fairly low is just about justified to its price tag.

In terms of storage, the Aqua Style III is integrated with 16GB of inbuilt memory coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. The device also includes a memory card slot through which the inbuilt 16GB can be expanded up to 64GB to accommodate all of your music and images. The offering from Intex also separately sports a dual SIM tray that can accommodate 2 SIMs, both supporting 4G.

On the camera front, the device is provided with two 5-megapixel cameras, one at the front and the other at the rear. The rear camera is also coupled with an LED flash for capturing images in low-light. To keep this device running, the Aqua Style 3 packs in a 2500mAh battery unit that should keep the device running for a day’s use under moderate use.

The phone although being priced at less than Rs. 5000, supports multiple 4G, 3G and 2G bands. The offering from Intex is also VoLTE compatible thereby making it possible to run a Jio SIM on it.

The device will be sold in two colour variations – Black and Champagne, exclusively through Amazon India. Would you be looking to purchase this phone? Do let us know your opinion in the comments section below.
