Computex 2017: Asus Announced “World’s Thinnest Convertible Laptop” And More

Computex Taipei, one of the largest computer and technology trade show is about to start on 30th May and Asus just hold its press conference there. At the conference, the Taiwanese company announced new laptops under ZenBook and VivoBook series. Here are all of them.

ZenBook Flip S

Asus ZenBook Flip S

The company claims the Flip S to be the world’s thinnest convertible laptop. With a thickness of just 10.9mm, it is 20% slimmer than Apple MacBook, says Asus. It is powered by the 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor with a battery life claimed to be 11.5 hours. The Flip S comes with single USB Type-C port and sports 13.3-inch 4K resolution display, which is completely foldable at 360 degrees. The pricing of ZenBook Flip S starts at $1,099 (Rs 70,875).

ZenBook Pro

Asus ZenBook Pro

The Asus ZenBook Pro sports a 15.6-inch 4K resolution display frames inside an 18.9-mm thickness chassis. Under the hood, the laptop is powered by an H-series Intel Core i7 processor accompanied by Nvidia GTX 1050Ti GPU making it a powerful gaming beast. The battery comes with the laptop is claimed to last around 14 hours and the laptop carries a price tag of $1,299 (Rs 83,798).

ZenBook 3 Deluxe

Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe

Asus likes to call it,  “World’s Most Prestigious Laptop.” With such tag line, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe comes with just 12.9mm thickness making it world’s thinnest 14-inch laptop. Well, this one is also claimed by the company only so far. It has two Thunderbolt 3 ports, draws power from an Intel Core i7 processor and sports a Full HD display. The laptop starts at $1,199 (Rs 77,347).

VivoBook S

Asus VivoBook S

VivoBook S is a 15.6-inch laptop that draws its power from an Intel Core i7 processor along with Nvidia GTX 940MX GPU inside. It carries a price tag of just $499 (Rs 32,192) and comes with a 17.9mm thick chassis. It gets 16GB DDR4 RAM and an Icicle Gold finish with a NanoEdge display.

VivoBook Pro

Asus VivoBook Pro

VivoBook Pro is yet another company’s mid-range offering carrying a price tag of $799 (Rs 51,543). It sports a 15.6-inch 4K resolution display with Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU inside. The Taiwanese company also ensures the laptop to stay cool by featuring dual-fan cooling system with a dual copper thermal module and heat pipes.
