Unbelievable! This Asus liquid-cooled gaming laptop costs almost Rs 8 lakhs

Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) series is known for producing powerful gaming laptops with high-end hardware specs. The company has welcomed yet another gaming laptop — Asus ROG GX800 — in the Indian market. I’d simply put it this way: it is one hell of a gaming laptop, running beastly hardware under the hood and carrying a price tag of Rs 7,97,990.

I talked to folks at Asus India just to found out only 4 units are available in India as opposed to 80 units worldwide. To recall, it initially made its way out at last year’s Computex tradeshow in Taiwan. The biggest highlight, the Asus ROG GX800 is one of the few ones to have water cooling, similar to its predecessor: the Asus ROG GX700.

Specs-wise, the Asus ROG GX800 comes with the latest Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 SLI graphics and Hydro Overclocking System liquid-cooling module. It boasts of a bigger 18-inch GX800 to experience 4K UHD gameplay. Furthermore, it is Nvidia G-Sync technology-enabled for a smooth and immersive experience. It also features programmable keyboard with RGB backlighting.

The Asus ROG GX800 is available to purchase on request at Rs 7,97,990.

Folks at Asus India also told me that the company’s ROG series ranks at number one worldwide and has 40% market share in India.
