ASUS ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro have been launched in India today. Both smartphones had debuted in Taiwan last August. The latest offerings join the standard, Pro and Ultimate variants in the ROG Phone 5 lineup.

The ASUS ROG Phone 5s duo sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and DC Dimming. The screen is layered with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The back panel of the ROG Phone 5s Pro has a E4 AMOLED colour-enabled ROG Vision display that shows various animations. It also features touch sensors for gaming. On the other hand, the ROG Phone 5s has a traditional RGB-lit LED logo. Both devices come with ultrasonic AirTrigger 5 shoulder buttons for gaming.
The ASUS ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro sport a triple rear camera setup of 64MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro unit. On the front, both smartphones have a 24MP front-facing camera. In terms of audio, the ASUS ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro are equipped with dual front-facing speakers with Dirac sound. It also features quad microphones with ASUS noise reduction technology.
Under the hood, the ASUS ROG Phone 5s duo are powered by a Snapdragon 888+ processor. The devices pack up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. There is also RAM extension technology up to 6GB. The smartphones are backed by a 6,000mAh battery unit with support for 65W fast charging. The ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro run on Android 11 with ZenUI 8 on the top.
Connectivity options on the ASUS ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro include 5G, WiFi-6, Bluetooth 5.2, DisplayPort 1.4, 3.5mm jack, and a USB-C port. The gaming smartphones are compatible with accessories like gamepad, armoury case and the AeroActive Cooler 5.
