ASUS Launches AMD-Powered VivoBook 15 (X505) and Gaming F570 Laptops in India

Taiwanese consumer electronics maker ASUS has been launching plenty of laptops in India lately. Now, the company has launched two new laptops powered by the latest AMD Ryzen Mobile processors and Radeon Vega graphics. These are the VivoBook 15 (X505) which is a mainstream notebook, and the Gaming F570 aimed at gamers. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications below:

Gaming F570:

The Gaming F570 is a gaming laptop. It features a full HD anti-glare display measuring 15.6-inches. Design-wise, it has lightning blue edges and comes in a Black finish. The laptop is equipped with a backlit keyboard.  ASUS claims that the Gaming F570 is the lightest high-performing laptop.

Under the hood, the Gaming F570 houses a 2.0GHz AMD Ryzen 5 – 2500 processor with integrated Radeon Vega 8 graphics. The laptop is also equipped with a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. It packs up to 8GB DDR4 RAM and has two memory slots which can be used to expand RAM up to 16GB. For storage, the Gaming F570 offers 1TB in form of a conventional HDD. The device is powered by a 3-cell battery unit. It ships with Windows 10 out of the box. Connectivity options on the laptop include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C 3.1 and the other usual array of ports.

VivoBook 15 (X505):

The ASUS VivoBook 15 (X505) has the same 15.6-inch FHD display as the Gaming F570. It offers an 81 percent screen-to-body ratio thanks to a NanoEdge design. The laptop measures 18.9mm and weighs 1.6 kg.

On the hardware front, the VivoBook 15 (X505) comes in two configurations. The higher model packs the same specifications as the Gaming F570. The lower one is powered by an AMD Ryzen 3 chipset clocked at 2.5GHz. It features integrated Radeon Vega 3 graphics. Both the variants pack up to 8GB DDR4 RAM. The 4GB RAM model onboard can be expanded up to 12GB and the one with 8GB is expandable up to 16GB. The laptop features a 42Whr battery with support for fast charging. The Ryzen 3 model retains the storage, battery and OS specs from the Gaming F570.

Pricing & Availability:

The Gaming F570 bears a price tag of Rs 52,990. The standard model of the VivoBook 15 (X505) has been priced at Rs 30,990 while the higher-end variant retails at Rs 35,990.

ASUS latest laptops will be exclusively available for purchase on Paytm Mall for one month, following which they will go on sale via ASUS’ retail channels.
