Taiwanese electronics company Asus is apparently gearing up to unveil a new phone, which goes by the model name Asus X00GD. The phone, as reported earlier, is spotted on a benchmarking website GFXbench with limited specifications. The device was also spotted on TENAA earlier with no specifications or phone’s images. Now, the listing on Chinese certification website is updated with some key specifications and images. Let’s take a look!
According to the TENAA listing, Asus X00GD comes with a 5.2-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution. Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz. It features three memory options: 2GB RAM with 16GB onboard storage, 3GB RAM offering 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM featuring 64GB memory. The storage, however, can be expanded further up to 32GB using a microSD card.

In terms of optics, Asus X00GD houses a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera. It also features a fingerprint scanner up front which doubles up as the home button. It is based on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and a 4850mAh battery. It packs in the standard set of connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Asus X00GD may launch in China soon with Luxurious Gold, Rose Gold, and Black Gold colour options.
