Asus has launched yet another lightweight laptop for the Indian market, dubbed as the VivoBook X507 Ultrabook. With this product, the company has further expanded its lineup of portable laptops. This laptop is specifically designed for daily usage by students or professionals. It is also targeted towards entertainment lovers owing to the “NanoEdge” display for an immersive viewing experience. Let’s know more about the new Vivobook X507.

The new ultrabook from Asus comes with a large 15.6-inch display bearing a Full HD resolution. As mentioned earlier, it has a “NanoEdge” display which as per Asus terminology means that there are very thin bezels on all sides of the display. It allows for a 178 degree viewing angle which is impressive.

Talking of the performance, a lot of power users will be left disappointed as it has an old 6th gen Intel i3 processor. The laptop offers up to 8GB RAM and storage is limited to 1TB HDD. If you need a faster boot time and transfer speeds, there is an empty M.2 SSD slot offered where you can add an SSD drive. For gamers, there is an NVIDIA GeForce MX110 GPU provided in the laptop which will aid in gaming as well as other graphic intensive tasks.

Similar to a lot of other laptops by Asus lately, this one supports fast charging. You can charge the device up to 60 percent in just 49 minutes. Along with this, the X507 has Super Fast technology which as per the company allows up to three times more battery life than normal.

In terms of connectivity, there is a USB 3.1 port and two USB 2.0 ports, it misses out on a USB Type-C port though. There is Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11 ac Wi-Fi. Additionally, you also get a fingerprint scanner to login to the device.

The Asus X507 is priced at Rs. 21,990 for the lower variant and it goes upwards from there. It will be available in India exclusively on Paytm Mall. The brand has also opened its own store on Paytm Mall to offer its range of laptops.

With the X507, Asus is now offering premium features like NanoEdge display and a GPU in a budget price. Let us know your views on this laptop in the comments below.
