Asus Zenfone 3 Laser With 4GB RAM Costs Rs 18,999 in India

Taiwanese electronics company Asus has announced the availability of its mid-ranged Zenfone 3 Laser in India. It was unveiled a couple of months ago at the Zenvolution India event. Asus has said that the device will be sold exclusively via Flipkart for a month. After that, the phone will go on sale across all other leading e-commerce sites, retail stores, and Asus exclusive stores in India.

The phone sports a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The phone is powered by 64-Bit Octa-Core Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz and 4 GB of RAM. The phone packs in a 3000mAh non-removable battery.

It is a Dual-SIM device with one Micro-SIM and one Nano-SIM slot. As far as storage capacity is concerned, the Asus Zenfone 3 Laster features 32GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB via the hybrid Nano-SIM slot. It weighs 150g and measures 149 x 76 x 7.9 mm in dimension.

It has a 16-megapixel primary camera on the back with laser autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. The camera supports features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, and HDR. It can record up to 1080p Full HD videos at 30 frames per second (FPS). There is also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone runs Asus ZenUI 3.0 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the Asus Zenfone 3 Laser supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0.

The device comes with a fingerprint scanner which is placed on the back panel, just below the camera lens. It also features the usual set of sensors such as Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, and Compass. Available in Glacier Silver and Sand Gold color options, the Asus Zenfone 3 Laser comes is priced at Rs. 18,999.
