Asus has finally launched the ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) in India. It was first announced in India last month but was not on sale till yet. Asus has confirmed that it will be available on major e-commerce stores as well as on company’s preferred partner’s retail outlets with a price tag of Rs 17,999.
The Asus ZenFone 3 (ZC553KL) Max sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. However, another variant of ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) with 5.2-inch display size is already available with a price tag of Rs 12,999. Another major difference between these two variants is – the ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) which was already on sale is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor whereas the newly launched (ZC553KL) variant is powered by Snapdragon 430 processor. The Snapdragon 430 is much more powerful than the MediaTek MT6737 processor which powers the another variant.
The ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB. It packs in a massive 4100mAh battery and also supports reverse charging features. It allows you to use the ZenFone 3 Max as a power bank to charge another phone.
ZenFone 3 Max houses a 16MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and an 8MP front camera for capturing selfies. Talking about the connectivity options, the ZenFone 3 Max includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB, and FM radio. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and also features a fingerprint scanner.
