After announcing a price cut for ASUS ZenFone Max M2, the company has slashed the price for ZenFone 5Z. The phone (review) will now sell at a price of Rs 24,999 against the earlier Rs 27,999 price tag for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The bigger, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will sell for Rs 28,999 against the old price of Rs 31,999.

ASUS ZenFone 5Z: Specifications and features
Being one of the first smartphones to have a notch design, the ASUS ZenFone 5Z sports a 6.2-inch LCD Full HD+ display panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,246 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
It features a fingerprint sensor on the back and a Face Unlock option is also available for users. In the camera department, the ZenFone 5Z is laced with a 12MP Sony IMX363 primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. It is coupled with an 8MP wide-angle lens to form the dual rear configuration. The set up is further enhanced with OIS and EIS. For selfies and video-calling, it offers an 8MP snapper. It is further equipped with features like AI Charging and AI Ringtone. The former adjusts the charging and the latter senses ambient sound levels and customises ring volume accordingly.
