It is expected to debut as the most compact flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. On the other hand, the ZenFone 8 Flip will continue to sport a flip-up camera module like previous-generation models.
ASUS ZenFone 8 specifications and features
The ASUS ZenFone 8 has a 5.92-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole design. The Snapdragon 888-powered phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. It will draw power from a 4,000mAh battery that will support 30W charging.

Interestingly, it also features a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Taiwanese manufacturer has already confirmed the ZenFone 8 will be flaunting an IP68 rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis. Past reports have claimed it has an AMOLED with a high refresh rate. The smartphone measures 148 x 68.5 x 9mm and weighs around 170 grams.
ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip specifications and features
The ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip is a larger model featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 888 and 8GB of RAM powers the smartphone along with a 5,000mAh battery. This Flip model also supports 30W fast charging. It features 256GB of internal storage.
The ZenFone 8 Flip lacks a front-facing camera because of which can deliver a full-screen experience. Its rear-mounted flip-up camera setup has a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel macro snapper. The motorised camera system can flip 180 degrees to the top for capturing high-resolution selfies. Like the ZenFone 8, the Flip model is also expected to offer 8K video recording. The device measures 165 x 77.3 x 9.5mm and weighs 230 grams.
The renders of the ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip show they are fitted with a blue power buttons. The absence of a traditional fingerprint scanner suggests that the ZenFone 8 duo could be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Both phones are expected to arrive in silver and black colours.
