Taiwanese smartphone maker ASUS has quietly launched a new entry-level smartphone. The device is dubbed as the ZenFone Live (L2), which appears to be the successor to last year’s Zenfone Lite 1. The new smartphone is listed on the company’s global site and comes with minor upgrades. Let’s take a look at the Zenfone Live (L2) below:
Much like the ZenFone L1, the latest ZenFone Live (L2) sports a compact 5.5-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The display is surrounded by large bezels. On the back, the device flaunts a gradient finish panel which looks stylish. The Zenfone Live (L2) can be availed in two colour variants – Rocket Red and Cosmic Blue.

Up front, there is an 8MP shooter assisted by LED flash for taking selfies in low light. The device offers facial recognition through the front camera for unlocking the phone, in place of the absent fingerprint scanner.
On the hardware front, the Zenfone Live (L2)comes in two configurations. One is fitted with a Snapdragon 425 chipset and 16GB onboard memory. The other is powered by a slightly more powerful Snapdragon 430 processor with 32GB internal storage.
