ASUS ZenFone Max M2 gets a price cut, prices start at Rs 7,999

ASUS launched the ZenFone Max M2 last year in December. The budget-friendly offering came with a notched display, Snapdragon 632 processor and 4,000mAh battery capacity. Today, the company has announced a new price for the phone as its 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant will sell for Rs 7,999. The bigger 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model’s price has been reduced by Rs 1,000 and it is priced at Rs 9,499. The ASUS ZenFone Max M2 is available at Flipkart with these new price tags.

ASUS ZenFone Max M2: specifications and features

The phone is a toned-down version of the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 with a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display. It has HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The notch on top houses a selfie snapper and earpiece. For performance, the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 octa-core processor. The chipset is coupled with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. Users can expand the internal storage with a microSD card.

The phone also sports a dual camera with a 13MP primary sensor that has an aperture of f/1.8, paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The set-up is laced with an LED Flash and 4K video recording feature as well. For selfies and video calling, the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 hosts an 8MP sensor with LED Flash. Other features include a fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, Face Unlock, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS and micro USB. The device depends on a 4,000mAh battery unit and runs Android 9 Pie.
