Audible, the audiobook and podcast service from Amazon is now offering its Sleep series free of cost for Indian users. The sleep and relaxation focussed audio series is available for free on Amazon Echo, Fire TV and Alexa enabled devices.
The series catalogue includes guided meditations, bedtime stories and sound baths created by experts. The audio series is aimed at offering comfort, relief and helping people sleep better in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Audible sleep series now available for free
Audible says that the Sleep collection includes ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response), meditations, bedtime stories, soundscapes, sound baths curated for customers to experience a sound night’s sleep. It also includes celebrity narrators like Diddy (Honor Yourself), Nick Jonas (The Perfect Swing), and Curtis Stone (Escoffier: The Complete Guide to the Art of Modern Cookery). The audiobook and streaming service adds that the sleep series could be particularly helpful for people suffering from sleep anxiety.
In a statement, Audible India Country Head, Shailesh Sawlani said “Our Sleep catalogue has designed to help people unwind and sleep better. We saw a huge surge in demand for our sleep titles recently which was the main reason we decided to take this catalogue to Alexa – we know people are actively looking for calming content to help them relax and unwind during these stressful times.”
How to access Audible sleep series on Amazon and Alexa devices
Amazon Echo, Fire TV, and Alexa-enabled device users can access Audible’s selection by saying ‘Alexa, help me sleep’. It will direct the users to popular sleep selection ‘Meditations: The Audible Sleep Collection’. Users can also access the catalogue by opening the Audible Suno skill and then choosing sleep as the genre option.
Those who don’t own an Alexa device can also access the free sleep collection on their Android smartphone by using the Amazon app.
