Nexstgo, the Hong-Kong based company that owns the AVITA brand had entered the laptop market in India last year. In July this year the brand launched its flagship offering called AVITA Liber V.
Now AVITA has expanded its laptop portfolio in the country by introducing the AVITA Essential. The latest offering packs decent specifications and is targetted at first-time or budget users. Seema Bhatnagar, Regional Business Director (South Asia) said in a statement, ‘We are proud to deliver an affordable laptop that is not only loaded with all the contemporary tech-specifications but is also uncompromising on design and performance’.
AVITA Essential specifications and features
The AVITA Essential features a 14-inch IPS anti-glare screen bearing an FHD resolution. The display is surrounded by thin bezels. The laptop features a textured cloth design on the lid as well as around the touchpad area. A 2MP webcam is located on the top of the keyboard and the device comes with dual 0.8W speakers.
Under the hood, the AVITA Essential laptop is equipped with an Intel Celeron N4000 processor with integrated UHD graphics 600. The laptop packs 4GB DDR4 RAM and offers 128GB SSD storage. The AVITA Essential offers 6-hour battery life. It runs Windows 10 in S mode that is streamlined for security and performance.
Connectivity options on the laptop include built-in Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 Type-A ports, microSD card reader and a headphone jack.
AVITA Essential price in India
The AVITA Essential carries a starting price tag of Rs 17,990. It is offered in Matte White, Matte Black and Concrete Grey colours. The laptop is listed on Amazon but currently unavailable for purchase.
