Battleground Mobile India has gone live on Google Play Store. Those interested can pre-register for the game and receive exclusive rewards once it is released. There is no word on the launch date of Battleground Mobile India but previous reports suggest that the game may arrive early next month.
The pre-registration link is live on Google Play Store which means it will be available for Android users and may arrive on iOS devices at a later date. The game is exclusively available for Indian users. It will be quite similar to popular battle royale PUBG that was permanently banned last year.

Users who pre-register will receive four special rewards including Recon Mask, the Recon Outfit, Celebration Expert Title and 300 AG that will be automatically available when the game is released. The game’s description on Google Play Store mentions that it is compatible with Android devices running 5.1.1 or above and at least 2GB RAM. The download and installation size will vary according to the device.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India is developed by South Korean game developer Krafton. It is a replacement for PUBG Mobile in the country.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is a free-to-play game just like PUBG Mobile. Since it is available for Indian users only, the game will offer India-centric outfit and features. There is expected to be battle royale mode, gameplay mechanics and tactics similar to PUBG. The game utilises Unreal Engine 4 and will feature diverse maps with different terrains. Krafton has also announced that Battlegrounds Mobile India will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues.
Battlegrounds Mobile India will also come with stricter restrictions for minors. The game will not allow players under the age of 18 years to play for more than 3 hours a day and spend more than Rs 7,000 for in-game purchases.
