Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) iOS version is finally here. The game’s developer, Krafton, has been teasing the iOS version launch for a few weeks now. Earlier today, BGMI announced a maintenance for the authentication system of the iOS version, which was scheduled to be carried out between 6.40am and 9.40am on August 18th. The game has now gone live on the App Store.

Notably, BGMI is available to download both for iPhone and iPad users. Battlegrounds Mobile India recently announced the 50 million downloads milestone. As part of the celebrations, the game is offering users a free permanent Galaxy Messenger Set outfit. iOS users will be able to claim this reward as soon as they login.

In case you aren’t able to find BGMI on the App Store, simply click on this link on your iOS device to go to the official listing and hit the download button. Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi or have a strong data connection since it’s a big file. You will be able to login using your Apple ID.

BGMI is available to play on the iPhone 6s and above, and devices running iOS 9.0 and above. The developer recommends updating to iOS 15 to have a smoother gameplay experience on older devices. Notably, iOS 15 is available for the iPhone 6s as well.
iPad users will also be required to have iOS 9.0 installed to be able to play, and we were able to download the game on an iPad 2017 model.
